Ministry of Defence
Interested in joining the Ministry of Defence but not as military personnel? Be part of our organisation as a civilian employee!
With a workforce of civilian and military personnel, we will do what it takes to protect what we value. With technical professionals, IT experts, purchasers and project leaders who are experts in their field, we create the connection between ambition and ability. This way, with your knowledge and expertise, you contribute to a stronger Netherlands and a safer Europe.
At COMMIT (Materiel and IT Command), we are ready to ensure that our colleagues have the best resources at hand, both at home and abroad. On land, at sea, in the air and even in space. We are the bridge between the Defence organisation’s needs and the possibilities offered by the market and our budgets.
We are COMMITted to strengthening our crucial role as a strategic partner to the Chief of Defence, the operational elements and international partners. COMMIT enhances the impact of its support by taking an integrated and innovative approach to materiel and IT projects, system and weapon system management, and chain logistics.
We pull together the worlds of IT, technology and purchasing. We are driven and inventive in our support, for everything from purchasing to sales; from technology to information. From equipment and clothing to supplies and communications. From cyberspace to boots on the ground.
